Sex ed in Schools
Kids within the schooling system of state education are not taught proper things about sex. Such as HIV, AIDS and potential STD's. Daum speaks about how school's didn't speak properly about sexual education so people aren't fully aware of what could potentially happen to them or what could happen to someone else. In older times kids were taught that if you have sex you will catch diseases with no exceptions. People need to be taught about sex in the most appropriate way with no biased opinion so people are actually learning. AIDS, HIV and other STD's can be deadly and permanent. Why not tell kids and young adults the truth about them so they can be fully prepared?

I agree that sexual education needs to be talked about more and taught better. Getting AIDS or a STD is life changing and not in a good way at all. Kids should be more prepared before they become sexually active. Its a part of life and not enough people actually are taught more about it. It is one of those learn on your own things and is fine for most of it but before you have sex you need to learn the risks. Basically educate yourself, wear a condom, and have fun.
